Keith Loy
Keith was born in Michigan but raised on the plains of Nebraska. It was during his high school years that his sense of calling began to take flight. After graduation Keith began working with teens as well as going to college. On three separate occasions Keith has had the privilege of working with his father in building God’s Kingdom. In 1999 he moved his family to Sioux Falls to plant a church. Since its inception Celebrate Community has reached over 5,100 people for Christ with an average attendance of over 4,500.

Keith has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dakota Wesleyan University, a Masters of Divinity from Briercrest Biblical Seminary, and is currently working towards his doctorate degree.

Keith is married to Kay and they have two amazing girls; Jordan and Jaidyn.

Brent Norgaard
Brent serves as Executive to the Senior Pastor, carrying out the vision of reaching thousands of people for Christ. Brent works closely with Keith and then with the staff to direct the day-to-day ministry and administration of the church.

Brent joined the team in 2005 after serving over 19 years in various leadership positions in the business world. Prior to joining the staff, Brent served on the elder team for nearly five years. Brent and his wife Mindy live in Sioux Falls and are proud parents of Nate and Sarah.

John Semchenko
John Semchenko serves as the point person for Celebrate Children. His family includes his wife, Dayna and their two sons: Lincoln and Andersen.

Prior to joining the team at Celebrate, John was an elementary teacher and taught public school for four years. For 16 years, John was an athlete and coach in high school, college, and professional levels. Most of those years were spent playing and coaching football. Those experiences shaped his passions for learning, coaching, and building a team. The local church has been the most influential voice throughout his life, and he is thrilled at the privilege of being a part of that voice and influencing the lives of others.

Chris Fickel
Chris serves as the point person for Celebrate Creativity, which includes music, production, drama, and special guests.

Chris grew up near Sacramento, California and graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1995. It was in college that he met his wife, Karen. They married in 1995 and moved to Karen’s hometown, Sioux Falls, SD. It was in 1999 that he felt called to be a part of the Celebrate Church launch and served as the drummer on the music team. Chris slowly moved from drummer to bandleader and then eventually to full-time Music Pastor and head of the Creative Department. Since it’s beginning, he has seen the creative volunteer team grow from 10 to almost 100 people. Chris absolutely loves leading people into God’s presence and helping them grow in Christ. Chris and his wife Karen have 4 kids; Noah, Luke, Ben and Kylie.

Galen Ensz
Galen serves on Celebrates’ team as the Finance Director and implements the financial plans, processes and internal controls of the church. Galen is a licensed CPA who joined the staff in May 2009 after working 16 years in business accounting.

Being part of this church is transforming who he is in Christ.  It is amazing to experience the journey to fulfillment of God’s vision. As charter members of Celebrate, Galen and his wife Karla have grown spiritually together throughout the life of the church and their two daughters, Rachel and Vanessa, are truly enriched by the people of Celebrate.
